Professor Aimy Wissa is awarded Tenure

Effective July 1st, Professor Wissa will no longer assist professors, but will continue to associate with them. She is grateful that the Princeton University Board of Trustees has approved her promotion with tenure. This journey, which spanned two great institutions and included numerous incredible mentors and collaborators, would not have been possible without the support of two families. The first family is the BAM lab family. Her students who persevered during the challenging times and always believed in her and the work we do (the picture below is one recent snapshot of this family that is constantly evolving and changing, but always resilient and daring to dream). The second is her home family. This family kept her grounded, wiped away occasional tears, helped her bounce back after setbacks, and celebrated the successes!
